Halloween

Halloween day it's funny because it's easier to get sweets.
Halloween costumes are very scary and funny.
I hardly celebrate Halloween because it isn't popular in Catalonia.
My favourite Halloween character is the ghost.
Sometimes people come to my house on halloween night finding sweets.

No, you can't eat these shoes! Chris Campbell, an American fashion designer, made them. They  are decorate with synthetic cookies, ice-cream sundaes and chocolate cakes. Clients can customize their shoes, but they are expensive-they shoes cost 250 dollars!

Lots of balls:

This swimming pool in a hotle in Shanghai,China, was filled with one million pink and green plastic balls to set a new world record for the "Large Ball Pit". It was the first time that people at the hotle had had so much fun!

About me:

Hi, I'm Isaac and I'm 13 years old. I'm from Banyoles, a little city in Catalonia. I think that I'm intelligent and fast running. I've got brown eyes and brown stright hair.

Likes and dislikes:

I like a lot of things, for example the videogames like Pro Evolution Soccer, The Sims 4 and FIFA 15. I like playing tennis and football. I like some popular youtubers like AuronPlay and HolaSoyGerman. I hate Real Madrid, I'm a very big fan of FC Barcelona. I hate a lot of Spanish politicians, because they haven't shame and they're thieves.

My time and my money:

I spend a lot of time at school and doing homework. But I like playing computer games and playing tennis. I train for five hours a week. I prefer saving my money.

Requests:

I like meeting boys of my class, but I don't mind their nationality, only that I prefer that they speak my language so I can understand them.

Here we are in my ideal home. It's in Banyoles, it's very big and very modern. The house has got about eight rooms for all the family and for the guests.

At the moment, my mum is in the sofa, dad is in the garden and my sisters are in their bedrooms.

My favourite room is my bedroom. It's got a comfortable bed, a destkop with a computer and some cupboards and wardrobes I love that house because it's very big and modern. And it has got a very big garden with a pool.

Writing about my weekend

Hi Sergi,

I went to Girona with my family on Saturday. It was really exciting!

I left home at about 13:00. I arrived there at about 13:30. First we went shopping on Decathlon and at Media Markt. At Media Markt, there were a lot of amazing televisions and computers, but we didn't buy any of them. Then we had lunch in a restaurant. The food was very tasty. In the afternoon, we went to the cinema to watch a film. When the film finished, we returned back home in the evening.

I had a great day with my family! It was funny and exciting.

Writing about a story about a rescue

The rescue happened while we were at the beach in Roses playing football last August. It was really exciting!

I was playing football with my family when the shooted to strong. The ball went to the sea and the wind took it. My father started swimming trying to catch the ball. It was windy so it wasn't easy to catch it. I was watching from sand. I was very nervous!

Finally, my father could catch the ball, but he return very tired. We were all very happy because we thought that he could not catch the ball.

Only half of the people in the class like football. I love FC Barcelona so I like football.

Banyoles

Banyoles is a city in the north of Catalonia. It has got a population of about 20.000 people. There are many tourists who come to see visit the lake.

I like Banyoles because it has a lake, and it's very quiet and friendly. My favourite places are the lake, "el Parc de la Draga", and "Club Tennis Banyoles".

Banyoles is about 120 kilometres from Barcelona. It's about one hour and a half by car. There are buses like "la TEISA" from Olot, Girona, Figueres...

An article about an animal

1. Polar bear

The animal in the photo is a polar bear. Polar bears usually eat seals.

Polar bears live in The Arctic, Canada, Russia, Greenland and Norway. They live and hunt on the ice. Females have two cubs every four or five years. Adult polar bears are 750 kilos. They can swim more than 150 kilometres.

The Arctic ice is smaller because the climate is changing. Pollution is a problem, especially oil. Humans hunt polar bears in some areas.

2. Dolphin

The animal in the photo is a dolphin. Dolphins usually eat fish and squid, but they can eat shrimp, crabs and octopus.

Dolphins live in the oceans or seas, they are from 2 to 9 metres long. They can swim 63 km. They can jump 7 metres from de water. Dolphins are friendly with people.

Like some animals from the sea, the pollution is a problem because it can kill them. The enemies of dolphins, are whales dolphins and sharks, because they can eat them.

An article about my school

Hi,

Here's some information about my school. It's name is Casa Nostra School and it's in Banyoles, next to the lake.

We start lessons at nine o'clok, and we finish lessons at half past one. In the afternoon we start at three o'clock and we finish at five o'clock. But on Wednesdays and on Fridays we start lessons at half past eight and we finish at three o'clock.

We study a lot of different subjects, for example: maths, English, science, Spanish, Catalan, PE, ICT, art.... My favourite subjects are English and maths.

After classes, in the school, I think we can play basketball with school team or dancing lessons too. I don't know a lot of information about school extra activities because I don't do any of these.

The people who eats in my school, have lunch in the canteen, it is under of our classrooms. They eat meat, vegetables, fish, fruit, salad....

An article about history of London

London is a city in the south of England. In the Roman times its name was Londinum. The population in the Roman times was about 45.000, but now the population of London is about 7,5 million.

Some important streets of London are Trafalgar Square (Battle of Trafalgar) and Victoria Street (Queen Victoria).

The people of London are called Londiners or "Cockneys". And for finish, some famous Londoners are Charles Chaplin, an actor, and Arthur Caran Doyle, the writer of Sherlock Holmes stories.

Write a blog about an expedition

Monday 2nd August

I'm going to go on an expedition next Friday. My parents and my sisters are going to come with me. We're going to stay in the Alps (Germany), so we need to travel there by plane, this Wednesday. I must take my laptop to continue writing in this blog.

Friday 6th August

Now we're in our tent. Here it's very cold, it isn't cloudy or rainy but it's windy. We are near a beautiful river. I take my camera so I'm going to take a lots of photos of the mountains, the river and some lakes, if we find them. I would climb peaks of the highest mountains that out there.

Wednesday 11th August

Tomorrow we have to return in Catalunya. I can say that I'm pleased with this expedition because I've taken a lots of photos and I have been all of the time with my family. The last thing that we'll do is swimming in the river. I think all of the activities that we have done have been very exciting, like climbing in one of the peaks. Before swimming in the river, I have to prepare the suitcase with all of the equipment that I've brought.

What mark did you get? I put 9 because I spoken fluid and continuum, without interruptions and with a correct tone. I used a correct vocabulary too but I moved my head much to sideways.

My day

Hi! My name's Isaac and this is my day. I usually get up at 8 o'clock, I get dressed and I have breakfast usually cereal and milk. At 8:40 I go to school by bike with my friends. At 9 o'clock lessons start. At 11:00 o'clock I play football with my friends on the playground. At 14:00 I have lunch at home. In the afternoon lessons start at 3 o'clock and finishes at 5 o'clock. Then I go home, I have a snack and I do my homework. I have a shower at about 21:00 and I go to bed at about 23:00 o'clock.


My week

On Mondays, on Wednesdays and on Fridays I go to tennis lessons. I train for 5 hours a week. On Tuesdays I go to English lessons for 1 hour. On Wednesdays and on Fridays I get up later than Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays. On Thursdays, I haven't got any activity after school.

My weekend

On Saturdays and Sundays I get up later. On Saturdays I usually have a tennis match. Then I have lunch at 14:30. In the afternoon I do my homework. I have dinner at 21:30 and I go to bed at 00:30, but before I watch television. On Sundays I get up very late and then I have breakfast. I sometimes have got a tennis match too. In the afternoon I finish my homework, I have a shower and I have dinner about 21:00. I go to bed at about 23:00.
